Kim Ueyama, Chief of Staff, provides strategic counsel and support to ensure that DREAM functions efficiently and effectively across our diverse teams. Prior to joining DREAM, Kim was an Executive Director at CCS, a fundraising consultancy where she partnered with organizations across the nonprofit sector to assess advancement efforts, develop leadership, and plan and execute multi-million dollar campaigns. As an Education Pioneers Fellow with the White House Office of Management and Budget, she proposed recommendations for a $1.1 billion capital financing program for minority-serving universities. She began her career as a high school math teacher at open-enrollment public schools in New Orleans with Teach For America, where she also wrote curriculum and completed a fellowship in school operations.
Kim earned her BA/BS in English and Public Policy from the University of Southern California and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. She serves on the Board of the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance.
